Online Credit Reports

Are you eligible for a free Credit Report...

You may be entitled to a free copy of your credit report if you have been denied employment, housing, insurance or credit in the past 60 days. The Fair Credit Reporting Act says that the company that denied you must give you the credit reporting agencies name, address, and telephone number. You can then contact the credit reporting agency and request a free credit report.

You may also be eligible for a free credit report if you certify in writing that you are either 1) on welfare, 2) unemployed and plan to look for a job in the next 60 days, 3) you are the victim of credit fraud.

If none on the above applies to you, the credit reporting agency may charge you up to $ 8.50 for a copy of your credit report.
