Based on the information you provide on your order form, our comprehensive employment reference questionnaire will be tailored to address the individual needs of your employment history. We will make every attempt to incorporate specific industry related questions for you as part of this service. This investigation is highly recommended if you would like us to contact a former supervisor, as they normally will and can provide a detailed assessment of your job performance. Please note that some employers will avoid answering these types of questions despite our best efforts. Our questionnaire generally covers the following areas as applicable:
- Dates of employment.
- Nature and length of their relationship to you.
- Your position or job title.
- A description of your duties.
- An overall assessment of your skills and ability.
- The reason for the separation.
- Quality/quantity of your work.
- Leadership/managerial skills.
- Technical skills.
- Oral/written communication skills.
- Decision-making ability.
- Professional conduct.
- Strengths/weaknesses.
- Employee/interpersonal relations.
- Budgeting/financial skills - if applicable.
- Whether you would be eligible for rehire.
- Attendance/punctuality.
- Whether you would be recommended for similar employment.
- Whether the reference will refer us to another individual who would evaluate your job performance.
- Any additional comments they are willing to make pertaining to your work performance.
